Meet The Team
Rachelle has over two decades of professional experience in the mental health field, having worked with individuals from toddler age to elder. Her diverse experience spans psychiatric hospital units, partial hospitalization day programs, foster family agencies, substance abuse recovery, LGBTQIA+ youth services, and work with political prisoners, victims of diaspora and exile, war veterans, and individuals with various psychiatric symptoms. This broad background has deepened her understanding that support is essential at every stage of life. Rachelle holds a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Florida and a master’s in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She currently serves as one of the mental health concierges for the Wise Folk Clinic, blending traditional clinical therapy approaches with holistic mental health practices.
Through her own healing journey, Rachelle realized how challenging it can be to know where to start without the right resources. Inspired by her personal experience, as well as her results in helping clients find the right formula for better mental wellness, she founded Wise Folk Clinic to provide individuals with the tools they need to check in with themselves and foster healthy relationships, starting with themselves. By exploring holistic methods like therapy, meditation, yoga, and plant allies, she discovered that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Rachelle is grateful for the opportunity to offer these resources to those ready and willing to continue their healing path and believes in the importance of consistent emotional check-ins to maintain well-being.
